Borewell & Water Tank Checker

Three genuinely different placements, three different rule sets — a borewell/well follows water-element logic; an overhead tank follows the opposite, earth-element/weight logic. Check each separately.

Borewell & water tank Vastu — questions people ask

Which zone is best for a borewell?

Northeast is the classical ideal — the water-element zone — with North and East as strong secondary choices. Southwest and South are the zones to avoid.

Is an overhead tank's ideal zone the same as a borewell's?

No — this is the most important distinction in water-feature Vastu. A borewell or underground tank follows water-element logic (Northeast/North/East ideal). An overhead tank follows earth-element/weight logic instead, and is ideally placed Southwest or West — the opposite end of the compass.

Where do this tool's verdicts come from?

Every verdict is read from a versioned, deterministic rule set compiled from classical zone-deity doctrine and modern practitioner guides, cross-checked for disagreement. No AI generates or alters verdicts.
